  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved ../pum/updates-list

Hi RaHa,

issues/errors/problems like the described ones are far better ( and faster! ^^ ) resolved over your command line ( logged in as user "root" over SSH ):

Depending to your operating system, you would use a package - reinstallation as for example ( for Debian/Ubuntu based systems ):
Code:
aptitude reinstall psa-mod-fcgid-configurator

Hi RaHa,

pls. create / add / modify your current sources.list, with examples from : => #9 ( these are examples for Ubuntu 14.04 and Plesk Onyx 17.0 ), to be able to use the standart Plesk repos, when you use commands over the command line. ;)

Hi RaHa,

for further investigations, you should consider to post the corresponding sources.list and additional configuration files at "/etc/apt/sources.list.d/".

Pls. don't forget, that you have to use the command "apt-get update" ( pls. report issues/errors/problems if you experience some, when you use this command! ), when you changed your "sources.list" ( or it's additional configuration files ), otherwise "apt-get" or "aptitude" are not able to use the new sources.

If the command
Code:
apt-cache search psa-mod-fcgid-configurator
doesn't show the desired package as output over your command line, you still didn't configure your sources.list as suggested.

Output of apt-get update:
Bildschirmfoto 2017-04-06 um 17.36.16.png
Output of apt-cache search psa-mod-fcgid-configurator:
Bildschirmfoto 2017-04-06 um 17.40.03.png
Output of aptitude reinstall psa-mod-fcgid-configurator:
Bildschirmfoto 2017-04-06 um 17.42.10.png

What must I add to the sources lists to resolve this error?

Hi RaHa,

as you might have noticed, the installed "psa-mod-fcgid-configurator" doesn't match your current Plesk version: => 2.0.0-ubuntu14.04.build1205150720 , but you would need on a server with Plesk Onyx 17.0.17 installed: => 2.0.0-ubuntu14.04.build1700161025

Pls. uninstall your current package and install instead:

Example commands to use ( logged in as user "root" over SSH ) for a manual installation of a desired package:
Code:
aptitude purge psa-mod-fcgid-configurator
mkdir -p /root/addons/plesk-manual
cd /root/addons/plesk-manual
wget http://autoinstall.plesk.com/PSA_17.0.17/dist-deb-Ubuntu-14.04-x86_64/contrib/psa-mod-fcgid-configurator_2.0.0-ubuntu14.04.build1700161025.16_amd64.deb
dpkg -i psa-mod-fcgid-configurator_2.0.0-ubuntu14.04.build1700161025.16_amd64.deb
cd /root
rm -rf /root/addons/plesk-manual

The initial error is caused by a "not-updated"/"not-upgraded" psa-mod-fcgid-configurator - version on your server. You still had the version from Plesk 12.5 installed and the sources.list - depending - search was looking for packages in the Plesk Onyx 17.0.17 repositories. ;)

You might as well like the idea to CHECK installed packages with the example command:
Code:
apt-cache policy PACKAGE-NAME

apt-cache policy psa-mod-fcgid-configurator
