qmail alias / redirect not working since Plesk 9

Hi,

I am trying to create a redirect rule in qmail as described at
http://kb.odin.com/en/3439

It worked for many, many months, but stopped working since Plesk 9!

Did anything change in Plesk 9 that prevents aliases from working this way?

The error message does not say what is wrong, it says:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mail.vacilando.eu.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

This is business critical for me because I have been using this method also for redirects for alias domains, for which there are no GUI settings in the Plesk interface. So what I did was the following:

domainalias.be is domain alias of domainmaster.be
redirect of [email protected] to [email protected] was achieved as follows:

nano /var/qmail/control/virtualdomains
domainalias.be:alias-domainaliasbe

cd /var/qmail/alias/
nano .qmail-domainaliasbe-info
&[email protected]

It worked perfectly -- until the upgrade!

Please, please help.

Finally! Seems to have been solved by this.

See also a summary of my experiences here -- hope it helps others.
