Qmail works on non existing mail too?

Hi,

i noticed that one email is account recieving hundreds of spam so i REMOVED the account. The domain has other mail accounts but the one spammed was REMOVED but seems Qmail still working on that account, if i perform ./qmailhandle -l
it still finds the deleted account
