• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

RDC Icon

Oleg, is this in the form of interface management?

Also, has the upgrader been redesigned in 7.5.5 as JT told me it would be to improve reliability and decrease downtime.

Indeed. There will be new migrator in Pleks 7.5.5 which migrate data more quickly and stably.

I also had the problem with not being able to deactivate the RDC icon. What I did is simply searched for tsclient.php and changed the content into a message saying that this feature has been disabled due to security issues.

That is correct behaviour of that button in Plesk. In Plesk 7.5.5 you will be able to hide it completely.

Hello

If you want to be able do this, you have to follow to my instruction below

1) Go to CP -> Server -> Interface Management
2) Mark check box "Show Interface management toolbar"

Now you able to disable, enable, hide icons and so on.

But the best way to disable icon is not allowing shell access:
Plesk CP->Domains-> <domain_name>->Setup
Set Access to system --- Login disabled
