Reading backup files without plesk

Hi

I've lost my plesk server and wondering is there anyway to restore a backup without using plesk?

I just want to open the files lets say either in windows/linux. So i can recover the files inside of the file

Is there anyway to do this without plesk or I'm going install plesk on another linux system
