• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Reinstalling

I've installed Plesk and have been learning how to use it, and am now about ready to start using it live, but first I need to reinstall it (having learned that 256MB is not large enough for the root partition with FC2 & Plesk).

Will I have any problems reinstalling the key?

I usually use Debian, but as Plesk for Debian is not yet released, I'm trying FC2. Should I try FC3 or something else instead?

Will 512MB be large enough for the root partition? With Debian I usually use a 128MB root partition a 1GB /usr partition and then large /home, and /var partitions and everything is well. Apparently FC likes to put lots of extras in the root partition.

How would you divide up 36GB if most of your sites were low traffic with no more than a few MB of content?

Thanks!
