Removing Tomcat license

I installed the Tomcat and postgresql option in Plesk. Nightmares! I would like to remove them both and control them manually. I have searched the forum, but cannot find out certain things:
1. Can I remove the plesk tomcat without affecting my standalone config/files?
2. How do you disable the license?

I would love to talk to anyone who has had similar Plesk/Tomcat nightmares

You can remove the Plesk Tomcat RPMS or you can even work with them in command line. You don't have to remove them as config files are not affected by Plesk operations.
