Hello All:

Under Plesk 8 / CentOS 4.3 -- how can I restore all domains and databases etc. after a server "reload" -- where OS and Plesk 8 was newly installed and the old drive (former primary drive) is now the slave drive. How can I copy everything back to the primary drive? Can anyone who did that be so kind to post all the info here?

John

Let me get this straight. You have the old drive in as a secondary, wanting to back everything up from it exactly as it is now...This could give you all sorts of poblems. If you've created ANY records within plesk, that could cause some serious problems with plesk.

The data shouldn't be a problem, but each of your clients and domains should be re-created manually to ensure the integrity of the data. Importing the data, if you didn't use a backup feature prior to the "reload", would cause mass-havok if it hit other records, and could corrupt other information.

I'd be happy to give you some more pointers for either direction, just reply here with what your intent is, to ensure everyone here knows exactly what's going on. (I say everyone becuase who knows, they may be able to reply faster than I can...)
