Restore Fails! Backup repository won't work

All-

Having some HORRIBLE issues. Asked 1&1 internet (do NOT use!) to replace a faulty HD that has been that way for months, causing excessive downtime. Now they put in a new HD, in preparation I DL'd a backup of my site (486mb) and tried to re-UL.

So, I went to the server and the backup area, attempted to put the file back up in the repository so I can restore it right? and it comes up with this super annoying LOADING whirly sign. No note of progress. No note of success. So...here I go...

Attempted overnight, and Plesk asked me to relogin in the morning and nothing was there. What!? Furious I resorted to trying again.

2nd time, I come home from work and:

1) It timed out
2) Administrator Desktop >

ERROR: PleskFatalException

Unsupported backup type.

Is the error msg. I get! This can't be!! It's the same Plesk, same type, same server, everything.

Please, please, please help resolve or help in general.

Anything to get me up and running. It's been 48 hours now....
