Restore From 7.5 Backup?

Can Plesk 8.x restore from a 7.5 backup dump file?

Theoretically, but you'll first need to convert the 7.5 dump to a 8.x dump. There's info on that in the docs. I tried that some time ago and it failed horribly (after a couple of hours of converting a big dump).

If at all possible just go with the Migration Manager, in my experience it saves a lot of headaches over the command-line backup and restore tools.
