• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Reverse DNS Control

How can you control the reverse DNS zones within Plesk? Everytime I make a change to the reverse zone using MS DNS, Plesk will change things back to a previous state within a day or so.

Hi,
Enter ptr record on the domain page for existence domains, and add ptr entry to DNS template on the Server DNS page

What do you do if the domain isn't managed by plesk. I've got one domain that I've got plesk dns turned off, but I need to add a ptr record to the reverse zone that plesk controls. Every time I add the ptr record in MS DNS i disappears in a couple of days. Is there a way to go into the database and add it manually?
