Question Running docker container with plesk - how does it work?

mudassar

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
ubuntu 20
Plesk version and microupdate number
obsidian 18.0.47
I have nextcloud set up via the extensions option in plesk. I have also installed Redis docker via the docker app in plesk. However I don't understand how to get the two to talk to each other?
My domain redis.example.com is mapped to the docker port.

According to the guides, this needs to be in the config file for nextcloud.

'memcache.distributed' => '\OC\Memcache\Redis',
'redis' => [
'host' => redis.example.com ',
'port' => 1111,
'timeout' => 0.0,
'read_timeout' => 0.0,
],
);

In the docker variables all it says that seems of use is the PATH variable and MEMCACHED_SHA1
but i dont even know what that means and how I would use it.

Once I have done this, the docker log shows absolutely no activity.

This guide:

shows me how to set it all up perfectly (i think) but still leaves me clueless on how to use it.

There are a couple of docker images i would like to use, memcache, cloud highperformance but the same issue. I have no idea on how to actually access the dockers and use them.

The dockers created by plesk are (trying to) being used on the same server by other websites set up using plesk.
