Im in charge of a linux servers and we are running out of disk space.

We have Plesk on the box and it has only 1 disk which I got raided to another.

My question is. What is the best solution for adding another disk
to this server so I can add more websites onto it?

Im not a professional sysop so I'd greatly appreciate your advice here.

Uhh, not really. I have the same question, so let me try to re-word it.

When I install a second hard drive, how do I specify that certain sites get placed on that hard drive instead of the first drive. For instance, cpanel uses a /home and /home2 method where the drive with the most free space is automatically chosen.

And I will say it again...that's an OPERATING SYSTEM problem.

You need to use logical volume manager to extend the disk as a partition across both drives.

Plesk does not care what is where. Linux tells Plesk what is where.

Ok, since your so knowledgeable, why don't you give us a quick step by step on how to do it...

I may be an idiot but I don't have the lack of administration skills now do I?

Go read Linux LVM and learn something.
