Scheduled Back-up hangs after upgrade to 8.6

The scheduled Back-up hangs after upgrade to 8.6. the process keeps running but nothing happens.
If I run the back-up manually with the samen config it works great.
anyone an ideaa why the scheduled one won't run anymore. It worked fine in 8.4 before the upgrade to 8.6.
