Resolved Search for files with JPG extension only

Hello, good morning!!

I am trying to clean my server of thousands of .jpg files because I already have them with a .wepp extension and I am having a problem.

How can I search from PLESK, only the files with a .JPG extension and then delete them? Is there a way?.

I am new to PLESK and I can't find a way.

Connect via SSH to your server (or use the SSH Terminal extension of Plesk) and then use:

to find/list such files:

find /var/www/vhosts/ -name "*.JPG"

to delete such files:

find /var/www/vhosts/ -name "*.JPG" -delete

If you want to search (and delete) also files with .jpg, then you can use the case-insensitive option "-iname" instead of "-name"

Be very careful as that would effectively remove those files for all domains in that vhosts directory (including any third party CMS plugins that use JPG files).
