• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Secondary DNS in Plesk 11

Is there a supported & documented way of providing secondary DNS not on the Plesk 11 box? We are a Plesk 9/Expand shop utilizing centralized DNS, and it doesn't appear that we can do something similar in Plesk 11.

We could roll our own scripts, but we would prefer a supported solution.

Thanks!

There is no solution shipped by Parallels with Plesk, but your options could be:
1) use Plesk with PBAs solution - it has embedded support for secondary DNS (similar to what Expand did)
2) code a simple script based on Plesk event handlers - i.e. listen for all added/removed domains and add slave zone in your secondary DNS. It seems quite common approach.
