Question Security hardening and backups

Hi,
Does anyone know if the security hardening offered in Plesk's WordPress Toolkit will cause an issue with the Duplicator plug-in from doing its thing?
I asked them, and they said:

It's possible that restricting file access may cause issues, but it would depend on the level of restriction.

Yes it will, the hardening is usually better done after the sites completed and requires little or no editing, the restrictions put on certain directories will indeed break Duplicator or any other similar backup/cloning tool. I'd disable them while you use Duplicator then re-enable them after.

Actually it depends on Duplicator plugin implementation. I don't think these security restrictions should cause any issues, but who knows. The only way to know is to install the plugin and actually try backup/restore/move.
