Question Seeking Affordable Plesk License Options

Hello everyone,

Over the years, the cost of Plesk licenses has increased significantly, and I am finding it challenging to sustain these expenses. I am looking for advice on where and how to find Plesk license offers at a more reasonable price. Can you give me some advice?
 
I had a Look at cplicense.net and from what I heard from 3rd parties they can be trusted BUT they do not offer extensions.

cplicenses.net Rates:
Web Admin $ 8.7
Web Pro: $ 13.5
Web Host: $ 23.5

Have a Look at ip-projects.de: (Plesk Licenses - IP Projects)
Web Admin: € 8,90
Web Pro: € 12,90
Web Host: € 22,90

All for fees for VPS. I personally use ip-projects.de since a Long time as their Support is pretty good.

We are already losing quite a few Plesk (server) customers because of the increase and excessive pricing. And we are probably going down by 40% to 60% in amount of Plesk licenses for 2025, so for the remaining customers it's good to have this option. That is, if they still want to stay with Plesk obviously. Haha.

A 45% price increase for Plesk Web Pro Edition and an even higher price increase of 50% (!!!) for the Plesk Web Host Edition is abnormal!! And is unacceptable.
 
For everyone following this thread: in the end, I migrated all of my WordPress sites (and 2 HTML sites) by setting up a new CloudPanel server on Debian 12 (Hetzner). The transition was relatively painless; it took me an entire night plus a few hours in the morning, for a total of 12 hours.

CloudPanel is very lightweight, and I only had a bit of trouble getting CloudFlare DNS and CloudPanel's Let's Encrypt to work together properly (I had to go without the proxy mode, but I’ll work on restoring it in the future). CloudPanel is very lightweight and has everything I need except email functionality.

Varnish is already integrated and can be activated from the UI panel. It's really a nice-to-have for anyone using WordPress like me. The sites are lightning fast. For backups, I will handle everything via the server without involving CloudPanel. I'm really satisfied.

Make sure you have basic authentication enabled because there was a vulnerability recently where accounts got compromised.

Besides that, i love CloudPanel but if you're reselling hosting, it's not very useful.
 
I followed your advice and enabled basic auth. I agree, for reseller accounts, CloudPanel is indeed lacking this functionality. But I imagine that a premium version will be released in the future, offering this and other benefits compared to the free version.

After all, given the prices of Plesk, there is plenty of room in the pricing strategy.
 
cloudpanel.io looks interesting enough. But it's a pain to migrate all of the remaining Plesk servers to it. Let alone to inform "not so smart" customer they have a different mail server now. Haha. Nah. I will look into other options. Thank you though.
 
CloudPanel requires a good amount of DIY; it's not an all-in-one solution like Plesk, and for many clients, it doesn't represent a viable alternative.
Are the email servers you're talking about the ones that send all the emails to spam folders around the world? Just joking xD
