Question Server down, emails in queue or undeliverable?

Hello Community,

If my server running Plesk goes down and I have to restart it, will my emails that came during this downtime be saved in the queue so that they show up again when I turn it on or will they be lost?

And what would happen if I completely reinstall the server?
