• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hiya

How can i change the server time on my virtuozzo/plesk 8.2? The options "Date and Time" and "Network Time" are grey and i can't change it there manually. My hoster said i had to do it with NTP? But i'm not that good in those things do you have a manual or could somebody help me with this?

Greets&Thanks

Virtuozzo VPSes (VEs) get their time from the hardware node. This is why they are greyed out.

You can, however, allow a VE to set the time for a hardware node. There's a KB article on this somewhere.

I'm reasonably sure sure can set the timezone offset on a per-VE basis though, so if the HN is running on UTC you could set the offset in the VE to be ETD, BST or whatever you want. I think. Not 100% sure.

Faris.
