TITLE:
Service-Package Sync not working for PHP Settings
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:
OS: ‪CentOS 6.10 (Final)‬
Produkt: Plesk Onyx Version 17.8.11 Update #31
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
As reported here: Question - PHP Settings - Service-Package Sync? - PHP Settings within Service Packages won't get synced to linked Hostings ...
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1) create Service Template with some PHP Settings (i.e: post_max_size 32MB)
2) create Hosting with that Template (in sync with Tpl)
3) change post_max_size to 64MB
4) Hosting still tells it's in sync but post_max_size is still 32MB - only showing option for "reset to default"
ACTUAL RESULT:
PHP Settings should be the same as within Template if they are in sync
EXPECTED RESULT:
Hostings are NOT IN SYNC even it says they are in sync
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
YOUR EXPECTATIONS FROM PLESK SERVICE TEAM:
Confirm bug

Subscription PHP performance settings are synced with service plan depending on "Hosting performance settings management" permission value, see Permissions
The default value is false and settings are synced.
I assume that you have this permission set to true so Service plan acts as a template only and all the changes are not synced in order not to remove any customizations on subscription level.

@IgorG - you are right - "Hosting performance settings management" is set to TRUE. Didn't notice the Note in the Manual.
But I guess it would be more "logical" if the Settings still get synced between Subscription and Service Plan for all Settings that are set to DEFAULT. (guess in 95+% those Settings remain at Default)
Of course if the Setting has been modified on Subscription Level - the change should not be synced ...

Maybe this can be discussed by your Product Managers (or whoever is in charge for such decisions) ... ? ;-)
