• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Set-Password Error Message does not show required Length

Fiech

New Pleskian
Hi,

as I said in the title, the error message that is displayed, when the user tries to set a password not in compliance with the set password policy does not show the required minimum length (at least in German), leaving the user guessing (and resorting to support):

It would be great if this could be added to the help text or (if this is user configurable) someone could show me in the right direction (my Google-Fu seems to be lacking for this task)

Thank you @Fiech for this Input. Please note, this Information with the missing length is also shown as Pop-up on changing the password in Roundcube. It would be also nice to have more options to adapt the password police to the the most recent scientific state.
