• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Set up local testing server to emulate Plesk

Greetings:

I have begun using Plesk through a Virtual Hosting Server Provider. I am a web developer and went with the plesk solution to make it easy and affordable for me to offer hosting for the sites that I develop.

A problem has arisen in our workflow, however. Previously we would develop on a staging server and then deploy to a live production server. Now, when we are developing, the sites of the staging server does not resemble sites on the Plesk server.

Is their a manual or set of guidelines that outline the changes that Plesk makes to the actual server? I would like to know so that I can emulate these sites on our development server.
