• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Setting up DNS to go to Microsoft Exchange

I've searched the forums and found several threads on how to set up DNS so mail can be delivered to an external server. BUT, each one gives conflicting advice and I'd like to get a clear idea of how to proceed.

We have domain.com set up through Plesk running on a linux system with an IP address of [1.2.3.4]. We have Microsoft Exchange set up on a Windows 2003 Server with an IP address of [4.3.2.1].

What do I need to do in Plesk's DNS setting so that email is sent and received through Microsoft Exchange?

Do I need to set anything special up in Microsoft Exchange?

Thanks !!
