Question setup remotebackup: cannot proceed upload to remote sftp

Hi,

this is my first plesk server. I like to setup a remote backup. I created an ftp account on a second server. After setup the credentials in plesk and click on save i got:

if i use winscp to connect to the ftp server i can read and write to it. I can not set any special rights to the ftp user.

No because i have no admin rights on the backup server to change the settings.

Thats a pity. I am not sure if your issue can be solved if you have no control of the target server. As that's were the cause lies.

Is it not possible to use it without resume?

When you cannot resume, you could simply remove existing portions of backups from your FTP server using your favorite FTP software. Then proceed with a new backup.
