• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Share SQL Database between Subscriptions

I have searched and searched and tried multiple attempts with no luck at this point.

I am setting up a new dedicated Windows server running Plesk 10.2

I have 2 subscriptions each with 2 domain names and different looking web sites but I want to share the same MS SQL database tables.

Plesk doesn't seem to allow this to happen. If I add the databases to one subscription it works but I cannot add them to the second or connect through web pages as it fails the logins.

Anyone found a way to share a database between subscriptions?

Okay for all those who have looked at this thread I found the problem.

It was that I was doing a database restore from my previous SQL server that was causing the issue.

I created the database in Plesk, added users and then did an import instead of restore and all is fine I can link all sites to the tables with no issue.
