hello
I changed my root password via this command:
$ passwd
but I can't login via ssh now.
I can login in plesk.
please help me to recover my root password.

- Which bootloader?
- Physical access to the system when it startups?

Resetting root password is possible when you start a "rescue system" like knoppix from cd for example. But for this you need to have physical access to the server.
