• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Pleskian
Hi,

I would like to migrate all the hosting account from Plesk For Windows 8.1 to the New Plesk for Windows 8.3 .

The Old Server are currently having 400++ client with 100GB+ data.

I would like to use Plesk Migration Manager to perform this and would like to know should i do FULL MIGRATION or Selection Migration for this.

If selection migration, should i choose only a few client first of the first migration batch ? Eg: 100 client first ... ?

Hope anybody can advise me on this.

Thank you,

Hello!
It is very complex question. You could try to migrate one client or domain to estimate migration speed. And then run bigger migration depending on results.

But my private opinion, it is better to migrate by small portions - it is required less disk space and (usually) memory requirements.

Thanks.
