• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Site Owner changes to Reseller

Every now and then, the Site Owner status changes to Reseller. I know this happens when I rename a domain, and possibly when I change a setting for the Client. Any ideas why it changes by itself? I will try it with a template update, I haven't tried that, but I do update custom templates now and then.

I just found one that I remember adding a last name to the Client in Plesk. Now it is a Reseller account.

I will try to make note of this when ever I make a change and let you know here...

Site/ and Sitebuilder/ add back in

I just updated a template in the Plans for a specific plan for a customer and the paths changed back to their defaults...

Under Sites... I have to remove the /site/ and /sitebuilder/ from the path because I like my files uploaded to the root - httpdocs.

May be a bug.
