Site Preview cant loginto Joomla Admin

When I use site preview to preview a joomla install, the front end works but when I go to loginto the administrator area joomla does not allow you to log in. It keeps throwing you back to the login page.

Once the domain name is delegated and the joomla config.php updated to use the doemain name and not the site preview URL you can loginto joomla administrator.

I need to find a way to loginto joomla administrator using plesk site preview pre delegation of the domain name.

this is a ulix and windows issue and joomla 1.08 and 1.10 issue.

for example:
http://208.109.19.1/$sitepreview/kimkennedy.com.au/administrator/index.php

login as
User: admin
pass: test

details are correct but it does not work!

I am having the same problem.
My server has CentOs 4.2 and I am using Plesk 8.2

Solved

The only way around the issue I found was to register a temp domain like testingurl21.com and set it up as a alias on the hosting slot, then change config.pfp to the proper doain once it is delegated.
