• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Sitebuilder 3.0.2 - Java Script Errors "can't execute code from a freed script"

teckna

Basic Pleskian
We have been trying to get SB 3.0.2 ready for customers but keep getting JS errors.

You can start to edit pages, save then and then you get the little yellow flag, bottom left in IE to say you have an error.

MSG IS:
------------------------------------------------
Error: can't execute code from a freed script

URL: http://sb.teckna.com/Wizard/Edit
------------------------------------------------

after this you cannot save the page and the top WYSIWG bar does not show .....

This error can appear under other circumstances .....

Feel free to try http://sb.teckna.com and create a site, you never get through a complete session without the error...

If you do creat a trial site .. please leave text in the home page, so we can filter the forum budies sites out..

In our office we have IE6 & IE7 .... IE7 seems a little more reliable but not much. FireFox 1.5 is sweet :)

Yesterday I prepared two patches. One of them solves problem duscussed here (file <sb-root>/htdocs/js/Wizard/Edit.js). And another solves problem with incorrect caching of pages content during site editing (file <sb-root>/include/SB/Site/Compiler/Configuration/Edit.php). This is also known as a problem named 'pages content data loss'.

So after appling these two fixed step Edit must work better ;)

To get these fixes you must contact SWsoft support.
