  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Slow in authentication of Emails accounts

Dear All

My client and my emails has been working but it is very slow.

They have been downloading and sending email out from their email account using Outlook or Outlook express. Theoretically, they will need to click send and receive button, during the authentication/ verification of email account, it will take a good 45 seconds to 90 seconds to get connected, authenticated before emails can be download or send out from the server.

I myself have experiencing this. This has not been a big issue until there is an increase in my client pool.

Please help!
 
Do apply the fix properly, do not allow any line to wrap to the next line else the code will be broken.

So far this has work for us.
