• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Small Nameserver issue

James_Itsa

New Pleskian
Hi all

Fairly new to VPS, but learning a lot! Having a small issue with my nameservers. I've configured them correctly (IP address, A records etc...) But when adding them, the IP address appears directly next to them on a whois lookup. For example:

Domain: www.exampledomain.co.uk
Name servers:
ns0.exampledomain.co.uk 1.2.345.678
ns1.exampledomain.co.uk 1.2.345.678

I've noticed with other nameservers, this doesn't show the actual IP address at all, unless you do a host look up on the nameserver.

Is this something I can amend within Plesk?

Thanks in advance

James

Maybe it will help

Contact your domain registrar to add the Ips under your domain NS record some time provided domain panel won't do it as when required.
We are also hosting and domain provider so We know how to resolve this issue.
