Guys, anyone have experienced my issue?

Smartermail was detected but when I tried to configure it returned an error

Smartermail was running fine by itself. no issue there..

BTW, officially only Smartermail versions 10.0 - 15.1 are supported - Software Requirements for Plesk

This can happen also if your
1/ port 9998 is blocked/not running
2/ the smartermail service is not working/active
3/ The credentials you are entering are incorrect

This is of course for versions earlier than 15

We made it work.
In the domain that the installer uses, we put port 9998 and now I can communicate with SmarterMail 16x
