Smtp Help!!!

I was just using the following command: qread and qstat

Now in the email clients a window says when sending email:
Unable to connect to SMTP, mail.fiomegahosting.com the server may be down or incorrectly configured!

The mail.domain.com is pingable!

Whats going on? how do I fix it?

The complete message is>

An error occurred sending mail: Unable to connect to SMTP myserver The server may be down or may be incorrectly configured. Please verify that your Mail/News account settings are correct and try again.

I have restarted qmail service and the same problem stills there.
