• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question SMTP relay?

Not possible
MSMTP only works when no mail service is installed and active on the server.

Just keep using Postfix and configure the "relayhost" parameter in /etc/postfix/main.cf to achieve what you are looking for-

I would like to enable smtp relay with Plesk, and found the following tutorial; https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...to-configure-an-external-SMTP-server-in-Plesk

Though unlike the screenshots, I cannot seem to be able to select IMAP and SMTP relay, as the system will force either or;

That said, anyone know how to do this?
MSMTP is relay ONLY, which means there won't be any local mailboxes IMAP/POP3 could serve, and without those, there aren't any accounts that could send email. In that case, there would only be emails generated on the server.
However, it is possible to configure a smarthost in postfix, as stated by others above.
