Chris-WS

New Pleskian
Hi,

i install a plesk 17.3 System. Send emails via the specified IP address.

But if i send emails to gmx or gmail. I got this error. How can i fix this issure?

Nov 10 11:51:27 plesk postfix/smtp[9509]: 310603E84F: to=<[email protected]>, relay=mx00.emig.gmx.net[212.227.15.9]:25, delay=1096, delays=1096/0.02/0.06/0, dsn=4.0.0, status=deferred (host mx00.emig.gmx.net[212.227.15.9] ref used to talk to me: 554-gmx.net (mxgmx014) Nemesis ESMTP Service not available 554-No SMTP service 554 invalid DNS PTR resource record, IP=54.36.xxx.xxx)

You need to check the data center's reverse DNS (PTR) name resolution record for your host's IP address. The reverse resolution translates the IP address into the host name. If that entry is missing and reverse name resolution cannot be done, many mail servers deny mail transport, because spammers have often been forging domain names and did not set the reverse resolution (of course they did not), so this is considered a major signal for spam.
