• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Sodium is broken after plesk auto upgrades

Danny325

Basic Pleskian
For some time im recieving following error message:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function sodium_hex2bin() in

I did not work on the site over a month, but this error looks to me like soidum is not intialized.
I checked the latest Plesk updates and may "Updated PHP 7.2 to version 7.2.12 for customers’ websites." have to do with.

Good i dont have been starded already with this project else custumers would have the site down for weeks, because im out of office.

So i have found the problem:
extension=sodium.so
look to be overwritten inside php.ini.

May you could add this line by yourself if you perform a upgrade and the module is activated ?
Wtf do i have to camp the plesk upgrades to deliver a stable site ?
