• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

I have had no trouble sending emails to a particular domain over the past 12 months until just this week I started to receive the following error when attempting to send email to any address at this one particular domain.

ERROR: sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.7.17)

The emails do not go anywhere. This error appears just before the final stage of sending.

The IT "gurus" at their end are saying it's an issue with my server. I have know clue what evidence they are basing this conclusion on but.... they are gurus and I'm not.

Anyone have any idea what may be causing this error?

Cheers,
Rob
