• The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello world
We SPam filter mail on pop account.
If i have customer who use exchange server. I made a MX redirection to the customer's mail serveur. But in this solution there is no antivirus and spam filter.
How can i use customer's server and filter mail with my plesk??

Hi,
It is not possible. Mail does not go through the Plesk server. It uses MX record and message is delivered directly to the Exchange server. So all spamfilteres should enabled on the remote server.

No problem, you can do this with plesk, or use the appliance version I put together, called Project Gamera

Step 1) Set the MX for the domain to be your plesk server. You must have no references in MX records to the exchange server anywhere

Step 2) Install qmail-scanner (available from my archive), this implements antispam/antivirus scanning in the mail queue, rather than the mail box.

Step 3) Turn off mail for the domain in plesk

Step 4) add the domain you are handling mail for to /var/qmail/control/rcpthosts. Example:
domain.com

Step 5) add the domain, and the IP address for the exchange server to /var/qmail/control/smtproutes. Example:
domain.com:10.11.12.13

Step 6) restart qmail, /etc/init.d/qmail
