• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Spam filter

Could anyone help me with an advice on what spam filter I should chose?

We are an end customer (a company with 30 e-mail accounts) and not very familiar with the tools available on the market.

A friend told me that within his company they are using a spam filter which is very effective. This software informs them (by e-mail) when a possible spam message has been received on their account and they are requested to click on a link to see this pottential-spam message. And this happens only 2 times a week. The rest of the spam messages are deleted from the server.
Does anyone know about such a spam filter? Could this be integrated with our Plesk 8.6.0?

Thanks,

Lucian

Yes... You sould google for spamdyke, it works really great with plesk 8.6

Thank you, StigJ.

Meanwhile, the company which manages our e-mail server, has installed for us 4PSA Spam Guardian.
It is very effective. So far, in 5 days we have received only 2-3 spam messages not tagged as spam. We have to wait for even better results after training the filter.
