• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

spamassassin error

Is there something i need to configure to stop this error from showing up in the Application Event Viewer in Windows:

SpamC.FilterException: Invalid CHECK result.
at SpamAssassinService.FilterThread.filterMessage(String fileName, String mailName, Boolean checkOnly, Boolean userOnly, SpamResult& spam)
at SpamAssassinService.FilterThread.threadProc()

I am also looking for information on this error as I am seeing this often at this time. Any updates on this will greatly be appreciated.

SPAM Assassin is randomly shutting my mail server down, I finally had to disable it.

System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Receive(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 size, SocketFlags socketFlags)

I get around a dozen of these about the time all mail ceases coming through the mail server.

I don't know what the problem is, but a solution is to uninstall SA and then reinstall it. This way, I was able to stop these errors and the hanging of the smtp server.

The version of SA is still so old I have tons of SPAM anyway - a better fix would be that SWSoft updates their conglomeration of add-ons more frequently.

Spam filtering mechanizm is already improved in Plesk 7.6. It will come soon.
