  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

SpamAssassin failing after 8.4 upgrade

I just upgraded from 8.2 to 8.4. SpamAssassin shows as active, but in need of configuration. We have seen a flood of SPAM so I assume all blocking has ceased. When I look under the Server settings, it appears to be activated, but it reads "Set Up Server-wide Spam Filter".

Any thoughts on what is wrong, and how we fix it? Server stats are:

CPU GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Version psa v8.4.0_build84080514.18 os_CentOS 5
OS Linux 2.6.18-53.1.4.el5

Hi,

First of all make sure that you have spam filter enabled in Server > Mail > Spam filter.
If it does not help try rebuilding mail service configuration using command:
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/mchk --with-spam

That seemed to fix it. Thank you very much!
