  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SpamAssassin is not installed

New Pleskian
Dear forum

When I log in as admin and navigate to 'Settings' -> 'Spam Filter Settings' I can see: (SpamAssasin is not installed).

If I double-check in 'Home' -> 'Help & Support' -> 'Updates' I see: SpamAssassin support - You have an up-to-date version

What do I have to do to definitely activate Spamfilter?

Best regards
SuiCo

What about

rpm -qa | grep spamassassin ?

For example on fresh Plesk 9.3.0 installation:

# rpm -qa | grep spamassas
psa-spamassassin-9.3.0-cos5.build93091230.07
spamassassin-3.2.4-1.el5

Hi

If I execute this command (debian) I receive nothing.

Under Server Components in Plesk I see:
psa-spamassassin The component was not installed
spamassassin 3.1.7-2etch1

In my Plesk-License spamassassin is included.

Best regards
SuiCo

As you can see required package psa-spamassassin is not installed. Therefore you should install it with

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller

for example.

Hi
In Mail Components it look as follows:

Select the components you want to install:

1. [*] Mailman mailing list manager support
2. [ ] Kaspersky antivirus module
3. [*] Dr. Web antivirus
4. [=] SpamAssassin support

(A) Select all, (D) Deselect all,
(L) Back to primary components list, (Q) Cancel installing
To select or deselect a component, enter its number;
Type a number or a character of desired action [L]:

Then I type 4 and got message:
The component spamassassin is already installed.

So what should I do?

Best regards
SuiCo

Remove spamassassin packages too and run autoinstaller again.
