• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

SpamAssassin Support

SpamAssassin is currently up to version 3.1.7, but PLESK 8.1 only has support for 3.0.5.

Why isn't PLESK running the latest version? I could really use some of the new CPAN features that require spamassassin ver 3.1

Who here needs ver 3.1.5 support too?

Plesk supports the latest version of SpamAssassin, no problems. I run 3.1.7 right now. Your version of spamassassin doesn't depend on Plesk, it depends on the distribution you're running. The same goes for PHP and apache for instance. These are not components that are provided by Plesk, they are only controlled by Plesk.

Pardon the dumb question, but why does it show up in the PLESK updater?
