  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SPF checking in Plesk 9.0 for Linux (bug?)

Hello,

One of my clients decided to upgrade to Plesk 9.0 the other day and the upgrade failed. After removing some RPMs as instructed by the support team the upgrade worked.

The next day the client enabled SPF checking under the Mail settings.

With SPF checking enabled clients see the whole email including headers in the body area in Outlook.

ie. The From and Subject lines are empty in the Inbox and when clicking on the message it comes up showing the header+body.

Anyone resolved this issue?

Thanks,
jacko

Thanks Brujo, I will try out what's suggested in that article.

Correct there are TWO bugs with SPF, the fix now only fixes the headers. The other bug is any setting other than write headers only rejects incoming mail from sources without a SPF record.

also if you set to "never block" it produce anyway entrys in the logs
