• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved SPF whitelist? (hotmail.com reports broken SPF records)

Hi,

apparently someone at hotmail botched their SPF records, it's been widely reported SPF errors in hotmail.com accounts today (Network Tools: DNS,IP,Email).

Nothing we can do about it, of course, but, is there a way to whitelist a domain or a network for, and only for, SPF checks temporarily?

Not easily, but have a look at this: How to build a whitelist of domains we ignore SPF check for in Postfix

An easier options would be to temporarily disabled SPF checking (or set checking mode to "Only create Received-SPF headers, never block"). But that would apply to all incoming mail of course.
Thanks for the answer.

I'll check the first option if this drags too long, altough I've already seen a lot of complaints in the official microsoft forum so hopefully they'll solve it soon enough. Seems like someone forgot to update the hotmail.com spf records.

Seems like the good folks at hotmail have already fixed their SPF records, if anybody needed a heads up.
