SSI component not installed

We've just implemented a new Plesk 8.1 server with the latest updates. We cannot seem to get SSI working.

We've tried uninstalling/reinstalling (via add/remove programs and restarting IIS/Plesk services) as per other posts here and on other sites but nothing seems to work.

Can anyone please lend some assistance?

Yes I have the smae problem the SSI it´s not working in my Installation of plesk 8.1, We have a windows 2003 server

We are having the same problem after recently updating from 7.5 to 8.1.1. Server side includes are not being parsed. This is on a CentOS Linux box.

Anyone know how to work around this while we wait for the plesk people to fix this bug?

EDIT:

So, after upgrading to the latest 8.1.1, I find that SSI works but only .shtml files.

we need an SSL cert for a subdomain....

Plesk documention however really only seems to support the 1st level domain for generating CSR's
