  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Question SSL Certificate works for plesk but doesn't for main domain

Esteban

New Pleskian
Hi, I've a cloud server (linux) at 1and1.mx, I've my own domain and a php site working fine without https.
I bought a SSL certificate to secure my site and enable https.
I followed the installation steps many times, but I can't make it work.
Only thing I achieved: enable certificate for my plesk site.

https://example.com:8443--> plesk site, works fine
https://example.com--> doesn't work, timeout

Could you help me please?
Thanks!

Hi, yes, of course, and it didn't work for my main site. But, as I said, with this procedure I could configure SSL in my Plesk site, so the certificate is OK.
Is there any other config I should check?

Are you getting some sort of error message? Just need a little more information.

Port 443 appears to be blocked in your firewall.
