Statistics.exe Run-Time error: Error 183 at Create the directory

still having a problem with statistics.exe hanging and using up all the cpu. i installed the files posted above and everything worked fine the last 5 days or so until today. im not getting anything in event viewer like before. the .exe just eats up the cpu. ive not made any changes to the server. i tried a reboot but its still doing it.
